Abel is awarded Select Dog at the 2016 ARC National Specialty

Our week in Lancaster, PA, for the American Rottweiler Club National was quite eventful! After joyfully participating in Top Dog night, Abel went on the next morning to receive the AKC Select Dog. It was both exciting and nerve-wracking, as judge Betty Leininger almost immediately pulled out Rico and Abel only for consideration of the Best of Breed award. The two were neck and neck in her judging. Both dogs showed excellence! Rico eventually prevailed, and Abel was given the Select Award.
